I volunteer my time as Creative Director for The Friends For Life Foundation. Every year we throw an annual gala to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Research and the Oncology Unit at Sick Kids. The event we plan always seems to outdo the previous year’s. The FFL Team is comprised of an amazing group of people who willingly give their time and effort to organize this very worthwhile event.

This year we are celebrating our ninth year with the theme – Joie De Vivre – all things Paris. Be sure to get your tickets before we sell out!

Hours of planning and working on small details make our events as great as they are. Last year we had an amazing turn out for our Masquer-Eight Ball. Below are a few behind the scenes details on how we pulled everything off.

We had the opportunity to work on a wedding project with the loveliest couple. Jill and Greg had the best story; they met overseas, fell in love and got engaged. The problem? They lived in Canada (Jill) and the US (Greg). The solution? Get married twice. First – to make it official for the government so they could be married anywhere. Second – to make it official for their friends and family.

Creative-e was involved from the initial invitation design concepts to the chalkboard signage at their Toronto reception. Below are a few pictures of Jill & Greg’s beautiful wedding. Enjoy!

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day (the second one!).
